When Homes Were No Longer Safe

In January 2025, continued conflict and displacement in Gaza left many families without safe and adequate shelter. Families forced to leave their homes were living in difficult conditions, often without sufficient protection from weather and the challenges of prolonged displacement.

Providing Shelter to Displaced Families

Fatih Foundation responded by distributing 5 emergency shelter tents to displaced families in Southern Gaza. The tents provided families with a practical temporary shelter solution and greater protection while they faced uncertainty and difficult living conditions.

The assistance focused on families experiencing immediate shelter needs, helping them establish a safer space where they could stay together and maintain a degree of privacy and stability.

More Than a Tent

For displaced families, temporary shelter provides more than physical protection. It offers a safer environment, greater privacy, and a sense of dignity at a time when normal life has been severely disrupted.

Through this activity, Fatih Foundation provided immediate shelter assistance to vulnerable families and supported their basic need for protection during displacement.
