Creating Space for Children to Heal, Express, and Reconnect
In November 2025, Fatih Foundation supported a psychological debriefing program for 150 children in Gaza, creating a supportive environment where children could express their feelings and receive emotional support amid prolonged hardship.
Supporting Children Through Difficult Experiences
Children living through conflict and displacement can face experiences that deeply affect their emotional wellbeing. Providing a safe and supportive setting can help children process difficult emotions and experiences.
A Safe Space to Express
The program encouraged children to communicate their feelings in an age-appropriate and supportive environment, helping them feel heard, understood, and supported.
Restoring a Sense of Normalcy
Activities focused on creating moments of interaction, expression, and connection, giving children an opportunity to step away from the pressures surrounding their everyday lives.
Care Beyond Immediate Relief
Humanitarian support is not limited to food, shelter, and essential supplies. Emotional wellbeing is also an important part of helping children and communities navigate prolonged crises.
