Emergency Appeal For Gaza Winter Relief
According to UNRWA estimates, more than 1.9 million people representing over 80% of Gaza’s entire population are currently displaced and living in tents or temporary shelters. For these families, life is already defined by constant displacement, uncertainty, and severely limited access to basic survival necessities. The approaching winter season is making these difficult circumstances even harder, significantly affecting living conditions and increasing the urgent need for humanitarian assistance.
Many of the temporary tents and relief supplies delivered over the past year have become completely unusable due to continuous wear and tear, and replacements remain extremely scarce. Families who were already struggling are heading into another harsh winter with worn-out shelters, wet bedding, and very little protection against the elements. Access to warm clothing, dry bedding, and a properly sealed shelter is now a critical necessity to ensure vulnerable individuals and children stay healthy.
