Flood Rescue Operation

When the Waters Rose, We Responded
In September 2025, severe flooding affected communities in Jalalpur Pirwala near Bahawalpur, leaving hundreds of families stranded as floodwaters spread through residential areas. Roads became inaccessible, making it difficult for families to reach safer locations.
Reaching Families Through the Floodwaters
Fatih Foundation mobilized its volunteers and deployed its rescue ships to reach communities cut off by the flooding. Rescue teams navigated through flooded routes and residential areas, assisting families who were unable to evacuate safely on their own.
Volunteers helped vulnerable residents board the rescue ships and transported them away from dangerous areas towards safer locations. More than 450 families were rescued during the operation.
Rescue Followed by Relief
The response continued after families reached safety. With access to markets and basic services disrupted, rescued families also faced shortages of essential supplies. Fatih Foundation provided food and drinking water to help meet their immediate needs.
The combined rescue and relief operation provided timely support to communities facing a critical flood emergency and demonstrated the importance of rapid response during disasters.
